Abstract instructions
The Organising Committee invites the submission of abstracts for oral and poster presentations.
Presenting authors must be registrants at the workshop. All abstracts must be submitted online via the abstract submission website. Title, keywords and text in abstract should be in English. Abstracts sent via fax will NOT be accepted.
Posters
More detailed information on posters will be given authors around 1 May 2010. The dimensions of the poster should not exceed 90 cm (3') wide x 120 cm (4’) high. Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors as stated on the submitted abstract. The text, illustrations, etc. should be readable from a distance of some two metres (six feet).
General rules
- Submission of abstracts available till 10 April 2010. Abstracts submitted after this date could be considered for poster presentation only.
- Authors must follow carefully all instructions in “On-line abstract submission form”.
- Authors will be notified of acceptance/rejection of their contribution before 1 May 2010. At this time, detailed instructions for oral and poster presentations will be provided.
- Abstracts should focus on results. Please refrain from writing “Results will be presented/discussed at the symposium”.
- Figures, graphics and tables could be included in the abstract with the different editors provided in the On-line abstract submission form.
- Maximum abstract length is 500 words, and the total abstract, including title and possible tables and illustrations, should not exceed one page (A4).
- Special fields are allocated for Abstract TITLE, AUTHORS' NAMES, and AFFILIATION, so please do not include this information within the Abstract text.
On-line submission form:
- Write title in CAPS, written without final point.
- Fill in all personal data fields marked with an asterisk.
- Email contact: we will use main author's email address to send confirmation of shipment. Therefore, it is important to insert the correct data and always use the same email address.
- When you have successfully completed all the steps, a closing screen will give you the number assigned to your abstract. Please keep this number in your records for further reference. An email of confirmation will be sent to the email address of the Speaker Author data.
Incomplete or incorrect submissions will be returned to the author and must be resubmitted immediately in the correct format to be considered for inclusion in the programme.
