Organisation The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency is led by the Director General and consists of 10 departments. Share Contact Listen Three of the departments develop actions and measures for achieving the environmental objectives: the Nature Department, the Climate Department and the Societal Development Department. The Policy Development Department is responsible for government assignments and for supporting the government in the EU and on an international level. The department for Environmental Analysis is responsible for an overview of the status of the environment, and the progress being made in efforts relating to the environmental objectives. In addition to these, there are five support departments: Administration, Communications, Finance, Human Resources, and the Director General´s Office.
